Our Groups
Montclair Early Music performs several concerts each year, including seasonal celebrations, such as May Day, St. George & the Dragon, Wassail, and themed concerts such as the music of Shakespeare's plays or the melding of art and music (Bruegel and Susato, Rembrandt). These programs often include singers, actors and/or dancers. Venues have included Montclair Make Music Day, Van Vleck House & Gardens, St. Luke's Episcopal Church.
All rehearsals take place at St. Luke's Episcopal Church, 73 South Fullerton Avenue, Montclair. Please contact Julienne at info@montclairearlymusic for more information.

Adult Beginner Class - no previous music experience necessary
First two sessions are free. After that $10/class. Come see what fun it is to play the recorder!
This class offers the perfect opportunity for those who played an instrument at one time in their life or have never played an instrument and have a burning desire to do so. The recorder is easy to learn and comes in various voices —Soprano, Alto, Tenor, Bass — making it easy to form an ensemble. Playing music with others is a special experience.
