About Us
We are musicians who love to play Medieval, Renaissance, Baroque, and more modern music. Our ensemble is primarily comprised of recorder players, but we welcome singers and players of other period instruments like the viola da gamba, cornetto, sackbut, crumhorn, lute, harp, and guitar.

Mission
The mission of Montclair Early Music is to bring history to life through music. This is accomplished by providing opportunities for adults and children of all ages and musical abilities, regardless of gender, ethnic, or economic background, to play music together.
MEM brings high-quality, unique performances to the greater Montclair area by educating and empowering a constantly diversifying population of musicians.
