Montclair Early Music (MEM) first hosted Medieval Fest in the autumn of 2023 in Montclair. This community festival is the annual fundraiser for the MEM ensemble and our youth and adult music education programs.

 

The youth recorder learning program designed for children ages 8-12, using the Suzuki method. The performing group is The DragonBards.​

The adult performing group is The Musettes.

MEM is a New Jersey registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Our mission is made possible by our volunteers, donations, and grants.

Proceeds from Medieval Fest 2026 will directly benefit our education programs, with a small portion donated to the Montclair Art Museum.
