Become A Sponsor

Montclair Early Music (MEM) first hosted MedievalFest in the autumn of 2023 in Montclair. This community festival is the annual fundraiser for our youth music education program, DragonBards.

DragonBards is youth recorder learning program designed for children ages 8-12, using the Suzuki method. We incorporate elements from the Dungeons & Dragons roleplaying game to create a unique, collaborative, and engaging learning environment, while promoting team work and creative critical thinking.

Our mission is to provided free or low-cost music lessons to children. We also support a virtual environment to allow for added schedule flexibility. We believe music education should be easily accessible to all families.

We are a New Jersey registered 501c nonprofit. Our mission is made possible by our volunteers, donations, and grants.

Proceeds will directly benefit our education programs, with a small portion donated to the Montclair Art Museum.
