FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
REGISTRATION OPENS FOR DRAGON BARDS, MONTCLAIR EARLY MUSIC’S SUMMER CAMP FOR CHILDREN
MONTCLAIR, New Jersey – June 4, 2024 – Registration is now open for Montclair Early Music’s Dragon Bards summer music camp, for children entering 1st-5th grades.Â
By combining elements of the acclaimed Suzuki method of music instruction with the popular fantasy roleplaying game Dungeons and Dragons (D&D), children learn to play the recorder in this fun, educational six-week summer camp.
The program also introduces the young musicians to medieval history and literary fantasy classics, as students learn songs, play games, and collaborate to escape the dungeon and tame the dragon! Â
Students who complete the camp are invited to dress up in period costume and perform at our upcoming Montclair Early Music (MEM) Medieval Festival.
Spaces are limited, so register today.
To register or to request more information, please visit montclairearlymusic.org/education or email education@montclairearlymusic.org.
